Cabin Stripe

Any ideas on how to bring a shine to the chalky gray cabin stripe, and then keep it that way?

I have been trying prism Polish.  It seems to work well - how long for, I know not; this is the first season I have tried it.

Of course, with paints sanding is not recommended...;-)
