simple oil change

Just wanting a basic outline of an oil change. Bought the manual and it might be over my head. ? !  Do I use my new pump to empty it out?

Thank you for replying. I'm most excited to learn about the "project" page (was not aware)! My engine is the Atomic and I'm feeling confident enough. Still searching for the oil filter!
