Forestay length

I couldn't make it out from the sail plan posted on this site, but does anyone know the correct forestay length? I imagine it may have varied slightly over the years. My boat is a '78.
Thanks,
Dulcinea

Sailboatdata.com shows an "estimated" forestay length of 43.27 feet :

Mine's off the boat, but I haven't measured it yet. It's still at the boatyard with the furler on it.
