I'm in the process of taking out the Volvo D1-30 from my Pearson 323. It's 11 years old, only about 260 hours on it, but the oil pan rusted out... Any tips besides belts, filters and hoses on what I should look for and or replace while I have it out?

Clean and repaint the engine compartment! :-)
You may also want to check the fuel tank. Some lucky chaps have monel tanks - very long-lasting. So inspect what you have, and check to see if any work is needed. Probably easier with the engine out.
Did I mention the PSS drip-free seal?
Good luck!

Not being as pliable as I used to be, I removed the tank for easier access to the engine. It looked pretty good but I did clean out the inside. It turns out I need a new shaft, propeller and cutlass so after reading your posts and others on PSS, I ordered one!
