All:
My family owned a lovely Pearson 34 Cutter - Hull number 50. My dad, John C. Wik, was a very skilled boat model maker completing several hand crafted wooden models of notable boats. These included the Emma C. Berry as well as a model of a whale boat from the C. W. Morgan. Each was hand made and to exact scale.
In addition to these two notable boats, Dad made a model of his Pearson 34 Cutter “Strommenâ€. (He had the boat built at the yard and would go up and see it weekly during construction.)
I do not know what has happened to this boat, but I have the Model and would like to see if I could find a good home for it. It is truly a work of art.
Could you please pass this information and pictures along. I can be contacted at jdwik@aol.com or by phone / text at 302-383-9923 and would be happy to share some pictures of the model.
Thank you,
John Wik
