Post by: rhpurcell on November 12, 2012, 02:30:35 PM
Where can I buy a custom made winter cover for my Pearson 323.  Chicago winters have snow ice etc.

Sorry, just saw this post. If you haven't already ordered a cover, I'll check with  a buddy of mine who bought a cover for his Catalina 27 at the Strictly Sail show in Chicago last year. I'll get the name of the company when he gets back from vacation. I think his cost around $1500. I remember from the display booth that it was a well made cover.

I made a "custom" cover using Kover Klamps. It took a good day to get the frame done and another to get the tarps secured.
The clamps allow you clamp standard 3/4" conduit together in almost any configuration. When fully assembled it makes a very strong frame.

Shipshape from Duluth is an excellent cover. They have the pattern for a 323.
