I have an MD11C and the boat is a 1977. If anyone knows the oem part numbers for the temp sensor and the thermostat it would be greatly appreciated. It never gets hot on the gauge. Shorted the gauge to ground and it pegged it. Water is always coming out of exhaust. Tired of ordering wrong parts. Do I need to have the serial number and if I do where is the number plate.
Thanks, Dick

I found these:
https://www.marinepartseurope.com/en/volvo-penta-explodedview-7742230-26-15106.aspx
http://www.keypart.com/stock/876080
Gives a part number of 876080 for a 62C (~140F) thermostat
The temperature sensor seems to list two part Numbers: 840074 and 827151
