Title: Repowering a Pearson 323
Post by: Caroleheller on April 01, 2017, 11:17:38 AM
Is there anyone who can tell me their experience repowering with a Beta? What size, what issues  encountered. Access to regular maintenance items eg
Water pump impellers- Do you have to change them from the cockpit locker as a possible issue.
Would love to speak with those who have repowered and their experience. Contact info would be great.
Rather complex subject for forum and email.
Thank you.

Call Joe Demers at

I talked to him in 2012. He can answer all your question about repowering the 323.

My MD 11c was yanked out last week with a Beta 25 waiting to go in. Yard got the Volvo out easily. Said Beta half the weight but wider, thus may have to cut the column between the doors out to shoehorn it in. If you want an update on progress and impediments, I can post for your benefit.
