Hi Everyone.
I have a monel Florida Marine Tank in my boat. I need to replace the fuel sender because mine is shot. I contacted Florida Marine and they require a tank model number so they can get me the appropriate sender. The tank tag is located on a area of the tank I really cant see. If anyone has it the model number, I would appreciate if you can post it. Thanks!
Happy summer,
Michael M

Florida Marine? Interesting...
My 1977 Pearson 323 has a 30 gallon Monel gas tank. While crawling around under the cockpit floor to inspect it, I found an embossed round logo bearing the name "Cambridge Welded Tank Co., Cambridge, MA". Near as I can tell, they went belly up and disappeared ages ago.

Do you need the sender, or the gauge?
My 1980 tank is Al, not monel :-(, I don't know if the senders are different. But my tank used a sender which is isolated from the gauge; it uses float/lever+magnetism to turn the dial. I replaced my gauge, and all worked fine.
From my research the fuel tanks sender was possibly located at http://www.moellermarine.com
Uses Rochester Gauge - 6700 series? Dial ref 5323s01792

Perhaps - admittedly long shot - yours uses the same senger/gauge.

Thanks guys. I have a direct read mechanical sender which is visible through the sight glass on the deck. It's definitely a Florida Marine tank because i can see the sticker. Ultimately an electronic gauge would be prefered. While I was at WestMarine i noticed the universal senders they sell. Does anyone have any experience with them? Thatnks again for the input.
