At last, here is the winch/cleat/turning block arrangement on Zufrieden. The turning block is not as far aft as my initial post on this subject suggested. Works very nicely, for me anyway.

I am not near the boat just now, and I don't have anything that shows the whole setup. Take a look at the picture of Zufrieden on the Parts page of this web site. From that you can see the headsail and the sheet running aft. The picture below, taken on the same day, shows the winch and cleat. You just can't see the turning block, but you can see the sheet running back toward the block, and returning to the winch, finally cleated. The block is actually a foot block. I probably should not be calling it a turning block.

Interesting. Zufrieden has a 180 degree turning block well aft of the cleat. I have always (rightly or wrongly), run the jib sheet from the jib car directly to the turning block, then back forward to the winch, then aft to the cleat. Seems to work nicely. I never thought of running the sheet though both jib cars. Always just adjusted the aft most, "working", car to control the set of the headsail. For me, that frees up the forward car for use in my preventer setup.
Still using the originals. Probably due to use in milder, shorter sailing seasons.

Yep. I plan to enjoy my 30th season with Zufrieden. It's been a keeper for me.
Less than 4 weeks now until launch date. It's a short, but beautiful season on the North Shore of Lake Superior.

Here is another vote for something close to 130 on a 323. We have a 130, with luff tape, on our 323. Works nicely on light air days on Lake Superior, but maintains usable shape reduced substantially.

I don't know the sizes needed, but unless you don't have the old stuff, you can send it in for duplication.
It's been five years now, but I used https://www.riggingandhardware.com to replace life lines on my P323. They also do standing rigging. I calculated the cost per lineal foot, and for each piece of hardware, then added the labor for swaged fittings. Sent in the originals to be sure I got an exact match, and it all came out perfectly done, at exactly the price I calculated based on the numbers on their web site. The price was way less than half what my local marina wanted for the very same thing, including shipping the old stuff.

Mine was documented by the original, (and only) prior owner. No issues in the meantime renewing each year.

I think Valor has the right idea. I too have the EV-100. It has been great (nearly indispensable), since I also single-hand most of the time. As for mounting, mine is on the bulkhead immediately forward of the chart table. Biggest issue I have had is that this location influences what you can store in the starboard storage areas. Once I learned how sensitive the sensor core is to nearby ferrous material, it has worked wonderfully. I have been very happy with how well it handles weather.

Can anyone confirm the size of the Genoa track. Defender has a decent price for the Schaefer mid-rail cleat now, but the boat is under cover, and I'm 400 miles from the boat, thus cannot measure. I'm thinking they are 32mm (1 1/4") but I can seem to find confirmation in any of the documentation. Thanks.

Thanks again. Yeah, that's the way mine is now. In addition to the offending fiberglass, I had the four screws shown in your illustration, which seem entirely sufficient to support the unit. Once I cut the fiberglass strip, I was able to remove the whole assembly. I did not need to add any reinforcement. The horizontal and vertical plywood elements are connected by a piece of hardwood, screwed together. I think it is just fine now. I have no idea why the fiberglass strip was added; I'd wager by the original owner of the boat. Anyway, all done now and it works fine.
